The Author
At the time I had no idea, but my love of history began back in elementary school. I don’t remember exactly how it happened, but by the third grade I had an obsession with Abraham Lincoln. Inspired by his rags to riches story, I found myself wanting to know everything about his experiences that lead him to the presidency. It made me want to follow in his footsteps: become a lawyer, become a senator, become president. I wish I could say that my presidential historian path started there and never faltered, but like most kids I switched what I wanted to be when I grew up rather regularly: astronaut, artist, chef just to name a few.
In high school, I recovered my natural love for history and upon that rediscovery my career as a historian was born. Although I have one final year as an undergraduate at Northeastern University, I plan on going back to school and pursuing my dreams to become a college professor. My area of expertise is United States History, specifically Presidential History and the 20th Century.
